Welcome to my digital micrograph portfolio
PORTFOLIO:
Welcome to my digital micrograph portfolio. This portfolio is composed of peripheral slide films from patients who were diagnosed with leukemia. Leukemia is a serious medical condition that starts in the bone marrow. When someone has leukemia, their bone marrow produces abnormal white blood cells that don't function properly and can often spill into the peripheral blood.

About Me:
My name is Yanna Yakimenko; I graduated from the NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital CLS program in 2015. I work as a generalist at Bayonne Medical Center, New Jersey, and a senior technologist at the Brooklyn Kings County Hospital blood bank department.
